Engaging with any content associated with The Tempered Way Therapy LLC (or associates) — including following, liking, commenting, or sharing posts — does not create or imply a therapeutic relationship with The Tempered Way Therapy LLC or any provider.

To protect your privacy, we strongly discourage clients or potential clients from sharing personal or treatment-related information publicly on social media.

2. Privacy and Confidentiality

Your confidentiality is paramount. We will never discuss client information, share details, or confirm the identity of any client on social media.

Clients should not use social media channels to communicate about appointments, clinical concerns, or personal matters.
For all communication, please use our official contact methods such as phone, secure email, or your client portal.

3. Follow, Like, and Comment Policies

Social media accounts connected to The Tempered Way Therapy LLC may follow or interact with professional organizations, mental-health resources, or accounts.
This does not imply endorsement.

To maintain ethical boundaries:

  • We do not follow, friend, or connect with current or former clients.

  • We do not respond to direct messages from clients through social media.

  • We reserve the right to remove comments that are inappropriate, violate confidentiality, or contradict ethical standards.

4. Client Interactions and Public Visibility

If you choose to follow or interact with social media accounts connected to The Tempered Way Therapy LLC, please be aware that it may make your association with our practice visible to others.
Your engagement is entirely voluntary, and we encourage you to consider your privacy needs before interacting.

We will not acknowledge clients publicly in comments or messages, even if you initiate contact.

5. Content and Information Sharing

All social media content from The Tempered Way Therapy LLC is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.
It should not be considered therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Social media platforms should not be used for emergencies.
If you are in crisis, please call 911, 988, or visit the nearest emergency room.

6. Social Media Monitoring and Communication Limits

Any social media account associated with our practice is monitored intermittently, not in real time. We do not use social media for clinical communication, scheduling, or urgent needs.

For time-sensitive matters, please contact us directly through approved communication channels.

We are not responsible for comments, posts, or messages made by third parties on any platform.
